| The newest, most exciting "Designer Dog" "Aussiedoodle" They are Non-shedding, and come in gorgeous merle colors as well as solids. In 2005 we decided we wanted to breed "Aussiedoodles". We have a blue merle male Aussie named CrackerJack, who is our loyal guardian of our horses. We bred him with one of our Standard Poodle girls and came up with what we know will be a fantastic hybrid and becoming a very popular breed. We actually thought we invented this breed only to be greatly disappointed when my sister in-law wrote and told us there were "Aussie-poo's"( what we were calling them) in the paper up by her. We got on the internet and found out we weren't alone! The cross between these two super intelligent breeds produce an absolutely AMAZINGLY smart and GORGEOUS cross! My vet was very excited about them, and said they would be a very genetically healthy cross. We sold our first pups in 2005, with people asking us if we are going to do it again...........................the answer is "yes!" Our "Aussiedoodles" were featured in a book in 2007 on Designer Breeds, called "Hot Dogs" published by Random house, you can find it on amazon.com. Several of our dogs are featured and we were pleased to be asked to be advisors for the aussiedoodle chapter. We raise both 1st generation Aussiedoodles and F1B 2nd generation Aussiedoodles. We do both large aussiedoodles as well as toys. The thing we like best about 2nd generation Aussiedoodles, is that they tend to have better non shedding/non allergic qualities. Alot of people state their first gen. crosses are non shedding, but while they are low to no shed- We don't feel its 100% correct to portray the 1st gen totally shed free as we have seen some lines that do. Aussiedoodles can be left long and shaggy, can be clipped like a poodle or given a designer clip! Please look through our "Aussiedoodle" pictures below. Even though other breeders of Aussiedoodles are using our pictures on their websites, be assured ALL the aussiedoodles below, were bred and raised by "us"- we are not just using the pictures. |
